Description
The Reblochon cheese has been AOC since 1958. It is produced in the mountains of Savoie ,especialy in the Haute Savoie. Exclusively from Abondance, Tarine and Montbeliarde cow's milk.
Made only from unpasteurised milk, Reblochon has a rich soft a supple paste revealing the aroma of mountain pasture grasses with hints of walnuts. Very tasty, it is used to make Tartiflette, the most famous dish from Savoie, but is also wonderful on a cheese board. It pairs perfectly with Vin de Savoie such as Roussette or with a white Burgundy.
