Description
Chevrotin is one of the very few washed rind goat’s cheeses. It takes its name from the Vallée des Avaris, where it is made. Similar in appearance and texture to Reblochon, Chevrotin is made exclusively with unpasteurised goat’s milk. The moist yellow/orange rind also has a fine white mould, and the cheese has a supple texture and complex aromatic bouquet.
